Getting There and Booking

Las Vegas Outdoor Fun does not take phone reservations. Book online only using the Book Now link. Your card is charged at the time of booking.

The address is 10500 Clark R. Petersen Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89191. They share it with Richie Bros. Do not go to Richie Bros. Look for the Las Vegas Outdoor Fun signs. Find the fence opening on the left.

Using GPS? Search by business name: “Las Vegas Outdoor Fun Rentals.” Do not use the street address.

Driving directions from Las Vegas: Take I-15 North. Exit 58 for the Apex OHV Area (NV-604). Turn right onto 604. Then turn left onto Clark R. Petersen Blvd. Look for signs on the north side of the road. In about 1,000 feet, find the fence opening on your left.

Transportation is not provided. Need a ride? Las Vegas Outdoor Fun recommends Frankie’s Transportation. Book your return ride before you arrive. Drivers may not be in the area when you finish.

The Vehicles

Specific vehicle models cannot be reserved in advance. Expert instructors help you choose on-site. Here is the full fleet.

ATVs – Single-Seat

Honda TRX400EX and Honda TRX250X. Both are single-seat only. Driving an ATV takes real physical effort. It is more demanding than a UTV. Long pants are recommended. Know this before you book.

UTVs – Side-by-Side

Kawasaki Teryx 800cc 2-Seater and Kawasaki Teryx 800cc 4-Seater. UTVs are easy to drive. Think of it like a jeep. A minimum of two people is required. No strangers are placed in your vehicle to fill empty seats.

Started on an ATV and found it too difficult? The team will try to switch you to a UTV. No guarantee on busy days. No UTVs available? No refund.

What the Rental Includes

Every rental comes with:

• 2 hours of ATV or UTV riding time
• Helmet
• Goggles
• Face mask

Not included: transportation, gratuities, or a guide. This is a self-directed rental on open terrain.

The rental is self-directed. No guide follows you. You set your own route across the dunes and trails. Come back when your time is up.

The Terrain

Las Vegas Outdoor Fun sits near the Nellis Dunes. Terrain ranges from rocky desert paths to open sand dunes. You pick your pace. You pick your direction.

What to Expect on the Day

On busy days: up to 2.5 hours on-site total. The riding time remains up to 2 hours. The extra time accounts for check-in on peak days.

Requirements and What to Wear

Age requirements:

• 18 or older to rent, valid ID and credit or debit card required
• 16 or older to drive
• 4 or older to ride as a passenger in a UTV (bring a car seat if needed)
• All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

Weight limits:

• ATVs: 400 lbs
• UTVs: 400 lbs per seat

What to wear:

• Closed-toe shoes only. No sandals. No flip-flops. No Crocs.
• No skirts, dresses, or baggy clothing on ATVs.
• Long pants are recommended for ATV riders.
• Dress for being outside the entire time. Think hiking attire.

Other requirements: All instructions are in English. Fluent English is required. A signed waiver is required. Anyone pregnant or with back or heart conditions should consult a doctor first.
