WiFiRV creates profit-sharing program for RV parks

WESTPORT, Conn. -- WiFiRV, a 7-year-old Internet service provider for the RV, campground, and resort industry, has created an innovative way for park owners to generate a new source of revenue by offering wireless WiFi Internet, a standard amenity expected by their patrons.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Thirty-one campgrounds and RV resorts have earned all around “A” grades in the second annual consumer satisfaction survey of independent parks.

FERNLEY, Nev. -- Effective Dec. 1, the City of Fernley will be able to impose a room tax on motels, hotels and recreation vehicle parks, and some of the funds generated from the tax will be used to promote events held in Fernley.

 
Florida's Citrus county approves RV park expansion

The Citrus County Commission tonight gave the green light to an amendment to the county's Comprehensive Plan that will allow the River Lodge RV Resort to expand.
