RV Recalls amaze me. The reason I say this is because, so many RV owners out there get so paranoid when they find out their RV has a recall. Why is this? Any time I have a customer say " I don't want that product, they just had a recall", I turn to them and ask why? The funny thing about it is, most people have more recalls on their car, truck and SUV, then they will ever have on an RV.
Also, a lot of the components on an RV / Motor Home actually come from the automotive industry, such as, taillights, headlights, motor!, transmission!, steering column, brakes, fuses and much more...

Another thing to consider.. The RV is a house on wheels. Think about how many times some one has had to fix or repair something on their home and remember the house just sits there. Now, take your home and put it on wheels, then send it down the highway. Something is going to eventually happen, nothing is perfect.

One thing an RV owner can do is, just make sure they do their preventive maintenance. If you don't use something that often, it doesn't mean that you don't have to maintain it!

Remember once you have a recall, schedule an appointment as soon as possible to get it fixed, so nothing else happens as a result of the recall not being fixed.
